XOCEAN is set to undertake a geophysical survey within a potential offshore export cable corridor associated with the 1.8GW
Bellrock floating offshore wind project in Scotland.

The campaign is scheduled to commence no earlier than 26 July 2026 and is expected to require approximately 60 operational days. Work may continue until 30 November, subject to weather and operational constraints.

The survey will use one geophysical survey vessel, up to four remotely piloted uncrewed surface vessels (USVs) carrying geophysical equipment and one support vessel. Hull-mounted and towed systems will be deployed, while the USVs will operate around the clock and transmit real-time imagery and situational awareness data via satellite.

Bellrock is being developed by Nadara in the central North Sea, around 120km east of Stonehaven. The proposed project has a planned capacity of up to 1.8GW, and its Wind Farm Development Area consent application was submitted in April 2026.
