The FlintStone Vessel is set to return to operations after Maintenance work
The fallpipe vessel Flintstone is set to return to operations after completing
an extensive maintenance and repainting programme. The work was carried
out at a drydock facility in Kristiansand, Norway.
The Flintstone is a deepwater fallpipe vessel designed for subsea rock
installation in water depths of up to 2,000 metres. The vessel measures
154.6 metres in length and has a loading capacity of 18,000 tonnes.
The maintenance programme included contributions from the vessel’s crew,
with around 10 members supporting painting works during the refit. The
effort highlights the dedication of onboard personnel in the upgrade process.
The project was delivered through collaboration between the crew, GOT,
and supporting onshore teams. The vessel is now ready to resume operations
following completion of the works.
