Offshore vessel provider Sea1 Offshore has reached a major milestone with the successful launch of its Offshore Energy Support Vessel, Sea1 Diamond, at the shipyard.

Sea1 Diamond is the first of four newbuild vessels being constructed for the company and marks the beginning of a new chapter in Sea1 Offshore's fleet expansion programme.

The vessel is based on the ST-245 design and has been developed to serve both the offshore oil and gas and renewable energy sectors, helping to meet growing demand for fuel-efficient offshore support vessels.

Construction of the vessels has been entrusted to COSCO Shipping, with the four-vessel programme representing a significant investment in Sea1 Offshore's future growth.

The project reinforces Sea1 Offshore's ambition to strengthen its position in the offshore vessel market, using their expertise in advanced technology and modern vessel design to support long-term growth.

Following its launch, Sea1 Diamond will move into the next phase of development before its eventual delivery.
