Offshore wind development, supply chain investment and the wider energy transition are expected to dominate discussions at SNS2026 as industry leaders gather in Norwich, England, this week for the event’s 25th anniversary edition.

The annual conference and exhibition, will take place from 20-21 May and bring together companies from across the offshore energy sector, including offshore wind, oil and gas, ports, marine services and engineering.

Celebrating 25 years since its launch in 2001, the event will reflect on the transformation of the East of England energy sector over the past two decades, including the development of the region’s offshore wind industry and wider offshore infrastructure.

This year’s conference is expected to highlight upcoming offshore wind developments, supply chain opportunities and wider North Sea energy projects. Discussions are also set to cover the recently announced AR7 results, progress at the Bacton Energy Hub, carbon capture and storage activity, oil and gas, and advances in onshore renewables.

Over the two-day event, attendees will participate in project updates, panel sessions, workshops, networking events, and supply chain meetings involving industry, government, academia, and developers from across the UK energy sector.

SNS2026 is expected to attract more than 1,500 attendees and around 80 exhibitors, with organisers also planning a gala dinner to mark the event’s 25th anniversary.
