NATO monitors Russian naval vessel near UK wind farm


A Russian Amur-class naval repair ship has been observed around 30 miles off the UK coast near the Galloper offshore wind farm, according to media reports.
The vessel, identified as PM-82, was reportedly stationary near the Galloper offshore wind farm off the Suffolk coast.
NATO has confirmed allied forces are monitoring the ship’s movements, with Dutch naval units reported to be shadowing it in the North Sea.
The sighting comes amid increased scrutiny of Russian naval activity near offshore energy assets and subsea infrastructure across northern Europe.
