Hanwha Ocean has officially started construction on the Shinan Ui Offshore Wind Project.

The South Korean project, located off the coast of Shinan, has a total capacity of 390 MW and is expected to support the country's offshore wind value chain while expanding global growth opportunities.

Hanwha Ocean is serving as both the developer and lead EPC contractor for the wind farm, overseeing project development, permitting, financing, engineering, procurement and construction.

The project is currently scheduled for completion in 2029, making it one of South Korea's largest offshore wind farms upon completion.
