Foundation installation completed at Dieppe–Le Tréport offshore wind farm
Installation of all 62 jacket foundations has been completed at the Dieppe
- Le Tréport offshore
wind farm, marking a major construction milestone in under a year after
the first foundation was installed in September 2025.
The installation campaign was carried out by the jack-up vessel Innovation,
which completed 32 voyages between the port of Cherbourg and the offshore
site. The jackets were installed on 248 pin piles previously placed by
the jack-up vessel Apollo.
The milestone highlights the large scale of logistics and coordination
required to deliver an offshore wind project in France.
Project partners said the achievement was made possible through close collaboration
between contractors and stakeholders,with careful planning and coordination
between onshore and offshore teams throughout the installation process.
The completion of the foundation installation clears the way for the next
phase of offshore construction as work continues towards commissioning
the wind farm.
