Eurowind Energy have started construction on three Romanian wind farms

Eurowind Energy has announced the start of construction on three wind farms in Romania.

This marks a major milestone for Romania's renewable energy sector, helping the country progress toward its net-zero emissions target by 2050.

Following the receipt of construction authorisations from the National Energy Regulatory Authority (ANRE), work can now begin on the Frumușița, Vector and Pecineaga Nord-East projects.

Combined, the three wind farms are expected to deliver 138 MW of renewable energy capacity.

The projects will utilise a total of 23 Vestas turbines. Frumușița will generate 66 MW with 11 turbines, Vector will generate 24 MW with 4 turbines, and Pecineaga Nord-East will generate 48 MW with 8 turbines.
