Equinor reported
a 29% increase in renewable power generation in the first quarter of 2026,
supported by output from the Dogger Bank offshore wind farm and new onshore
assets.
Total power generation
reached 1.39 TWh during the quarter, with higher renewable output partly
offset by lower gas-to-power generation.
The company reported
adjusted operating income of USD 9.77 billion for the quarter, supported
by higher production levels and stronger energy prices.
Equinor said total
equity production rose 9% year-on-year to 2.313 million barrels of oil
equivalent per day.
Dogger
Bank,
under development in the UK North Sea, is expected to become the world’s
largest offshore wind farm once fully operational.
