Dajin Heavy Industry has completed production of all monopile foundations within its scope for Ørsted's Hornsea 3 offshore wind farm, with the final shipment now departing for the UK.

The company said the last batch of monopiles has been loaded onto its owned deck carrier, King One, marking the completion of its manufacturing and transport role for the project.

Dajin attributed the successful delivery to its offshore engineering expertise, QHSE standards, and transport capability, which enabled the company to manage logistics throughout the contract.

Hornsea 3 is one of the world's largest offshore wind projects currently under construction. Once operational, the wind farm will have a capacity of 2.9GW, generating enough renewable electricity to power more than three million UK homes.
